Topsfield, MA March 15, 2017 –  MedData Group, LLC a leader in data-driven solutions fueling healthcare professional engagement, announces the latest findings from their MedData Point physician survey. MedData Point is a market research program powered by MedData Group that collects and analyzes data to provide healthcare marketers with insights into the latest trends, technologies and perceptions in healthcare among physicians across a variety of specialties, ages, and practice sizes.

HCP programmatic advertising is creating a valuable opportunity for many healthcare and pharma companies to advertise their products and services to a highly targeted audience of healthcare professionals on a wide range of websites, mobile devices, social networks and even addressable TV.  In this survey, we asked physicians how they interact with professional healthcare content that is presented via online advertising. Based on 272 physician responses, MedData Group found that news and media outlets were the top type of non-professional website where physicians reported interacting with healthcare advertisements the most. In addition, CME and drug information were the top two types of content that physicians said they would interact with via advertising.

Results of this survey indicate that while physicians are find value in being targeted through programmatic advertising when the content relates to their profession. For more information on the data, please read on for the full findings.
