Topsfield, MA January 14, 2016 MedData Group, LLC a leader in providing data solutions and demand generation services to the professional healthcare community, announces the latest findings from their MedData Point physician survey. MedData Point is a market research program powered by MedData Group and in partnership with Capko & Morgan, that collects and analyzes data to provide healthcare marketers with insights into the latest trends, technologies and perceptions in healthcare among physicians across a variety of specialties, ages, and practice sizes.
In this latest survey, MedData Group asked physicians about their opinions and perceptions on front office technology. Based on 172 physician responses, MedData Group found that automated reminders was the top front office technology with which physicians were familiar. No-shows and late cancels was identified as the top front office challenge. However, when asked which front office technologies they planned to implement in 2016, presently only 29% plan to implement automated reminders and even less presently plan to implement payment estimation and collection technologies.
The results of this survey reflect a disconnect between the problems responding physicians see in their front offices and awareness and implementation of new technologies that can help.
